I am a psychologist who collects accounts of unusual sleep-related experiences. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has experienced a sensation of a loud bang or explosion that seemed to come from inside their head (or a sense that your head was about to explode)just as they were falling asleep or which awakened them from sleep.
