Follow-Up:
I have been taking ambien for about 6 - 8 mos due to insomnia caused by Wellbutrin (150 mg in the a.m.!). I didn't think there was any problem, the only thing I had noticed was that if I took it and did not go straight to bed, at some point maybe a half hour after taking it, I would suddenly have double vision looking at the tv, and when I tried to get up and walk anywhere I was unsteady like I was drunk. HOWEVER, I have recently had two occasions (that I know of) where I have taken it, not gone straight to bed, then gotten up the next day to find I had done things like go into the kitchen and eat heavily, actually COOK something, changed my clothes, had conversations with my husband, etc. and I HAVE NO MEMORY OF DOING IT!!!! Now that I am aware this can happen, I am going to make sure to only take it when I'm going straight to bed, and I'll see how that works. I have noticed an increased inability to remember things, small details, but I thought that was due to the Adderall I take for ADD. Now I'm not so sure. Hmm..
