Follow-Up:
Hi, just thought I'd add my story. Last month I took an Ambien to sleep. I lay down in bed. Apparently some time during the night I got my 8 year old son out of bed to play football. Two O'Clock in the morning playing football in my house. At approximately 7:30 A.M. after my wife had left to take my kids to school I got out of bed and dressed in a uniform shirt and black satin shorts and proceeded to get in my car and drive. Th e cops pulled me over. I did not know where I was or what I was doing. They took me to the hospital, where I work, and ran all kinds of tests on me. I was charged with DUI, fleeing and attempting to elude, reckless driving, resisting arrest, driving left of center line. Needless to say I am in all kinds of trouble. I have hired an attorney at a cost of $10,000.00. And will probably owe him more before this is over.I have no recollection of this incident. My earliest memory is approx. 4:00 P.M. that afternoon. I lost over 14 hours. Please do not take this drug. It is the most dangerous drug on the market today, in my opinion. Explaining this to people who have never experienced this is impossible. If you have any info that may help me, please write. I do intend to sue the makers of Ambien. How many people have already died while taking this drug? How many more have to die or at least have their lives ruined? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Darrel
