Follow-Up:
I am bipolar and the doctor gave me Ambien on top of my other meds because I couldn't sleep and not sleeping for me equals going into a mania. Well, it made me out and out nuts. I felt like there were ghosts in the room but they didn't scare me but there was an eerie presence. I had great sex with my husband repeatedly and didn't remember it in the morning. I would babble on and on about stuff that made no sense at all. And worse of all, it didn't help me sleep. It made me drowsy for about 15 minutes if I took it right before going to bed. I could get maybe 2 hours sleep. Then other than being crazy until sun rise, it had no effect.
