I too have been experiencing sleepwalking, blackouts and serious memory loss!! I have awakened in the middle of eating very strange combinations of food and have even left the stove on without realizing it on several occasions. I tend to completely blackout the time immediately following my taking of Ambien or oftentimes confuse the events following the 10mg dose with dreams and am unable to tell if they really happened or not. My memory is absolutely horrendous! During the day I have been managing to forget entire conversations, people's names (including those close to me), and am being continously reminded of things people told me about weeks, days and even hours ago. I feel as if there is a short circuit in my brain. I've been told that I have called friends and family in the middle of the night and shared with them a wide variety of crazy stories that I have no recollection of the next day. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow as a matter of fact to address these issues because they've turned into a huge problem that I can not control. I take 10mg of Ambien every 3-7 days depending on whether I can fall asleep or not...
