I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS SITE! my ambien blackout was extreme and landed me in jail. DO NOT GET NEAR THIS PILL. according to the police report (i, of course, can't remember anything), i got in my car and promptly drove it into 2 parked cars down the street then went home. a neighbor apparently saw me playing smash up and appropriately called the police. i am now charged with a DUI and 2 counts of leaving the scene. how was i to know what a simple sleeping pill could do? ruin my life? i'd only been on it for 3 days! the paper on side effects that comes with the prescription says only that 'although unlikely, this drug can infrequently cause memory loss.' unlikely? infrequently? not judging from this site. also, the information says that 'to avoid this effect do not take a dose of this drug unless you have time for a full night's sleep that lasts at least 7 to 8 hours.' um, that assumes that you arent sleepwalking, which is another clear side effect the company neglects to mention.
