Follow-Up:
I've had burning tongue for nearly 2 years. 2 things the ENT doc told me was low estrogen and riboflavin. (I had about 8 blood samples tested). I cannot absorb riboflavin so had a shot instead and got instant relief. When I went back the following week for another shot, it didn't work. So I went to a dentist and requested clonazepam which I am still taking. Also try childrens crest toothpaste. I have also chewed gum which really helps. I sometimes think that a crown on the left of my mouth is seeping some kind of metallic/bloody substance. My tongue rests against it and is sore. I can wrap that tooth with gauze and the pain goes!
