I have them

Follow-Up:

You either have one or two things.. or they are combined. I have Panic disorder.. I was agoraphobic for two years and could not leave my house. Sometimes while I'm asleep, my body has an attack and it's the most horrifying thing to encounter. Your mind wakes up, but your body is still asleep. You can open your eyes sometimes and see the room, yet since your still technically dreaming, your nightmares come alive. I get the noise in my head that you were explaining. To me it sounds like a train. First far far away, then BAM it's so loud it hurts. The worst one I had I saw my room and knew where I was, but couldn't move, then I saw a relative of mine walk in and stab me. When I pulled myself out of it, I wasn't breathing. My lungs hurt and it was because I was holding my breath. I hear the anxiety and panic in your letter. It's so common, yet always feels like your the only one in the world that has it. Panic is easy to describe. If you ever are fine one second.. then your heart races, you may sweat or shake, feel like your choking, get nauseaus, maybe have diharrea, headache and thoughts that don't seem normal. Thoughts that spin around your head. You can't stop them no matter how hard you try. It's a chemical imbalance or in your case, might be post tramatic due to sleep paralysis, if that's what you have. Please, your not alone. I know what your going through. I watch my son like at any minute he might show signs of the horrible life I lived. Get help, talk to people. It's not something you should have to just DEAL WITH or GET OVER.. like many people suggest. You can feel better, that I can promise.
