Follow-Up:
My mouth is feeling a little bit better today - exactly one week after my dentist appointment, but i'm still not back to as good as I was before. My teeth feel very loose and tender, and I keep clenching really bad. Also I have places on my gums where I have bone spurs. These get very sore after a cleaning. Does anyone else have really bony areas under their gums? usa - many of the women on these various bms message boards think that mercury has something to do with their problems. Personally, I don't think it has anything to do with mine, but I do believe that we all have different "triggers" that started our bms? It could be mercury for some, but not for others. I don't have any of the other symptoms that go along with mercury toxicity. I only have the nerve damage in my gums, teeth and the burning tongue. Other than that, I am healthy, considering that I am so old that I became a great- grandma in January! I do have arthritis is my hips that really acts up if I overdo, but that is to be expected at my age. Also, my fingers are very twisted and ugly looking from osteoarthritis, but that's a common problem as we age. There are a couple of women with bms, who post on these message boards, who have never had a silver/mercury amalgam filling in their teeth. One has had no fillings at all, and a couple of others have had only the white stuff. I'm not sure, but I think that the young guy who runs Go4Hope, said that he only has white fillings? Anyway, I think that each of us has our own personal theory on what started or caused our bms, and I believe it could be different causes for different people.
