Hi Gail, I am 52 and going thru menopause since I was 47 yrs old. I have read on other message boards where hrt did not help with the bms. I myself have not tried it. I guess you have to try it and see what happens. I think my bms has something to do with the different metals in my mouth. I have gold crowns mixed with other metals which are not a good combination.
