Follow-Up:
Mari, I hope that your daughter is doing better. Sometimes, when I get really involved in an activity, I don't notice the BMS as much. However, later, I seem to pay in spades, if I have ignored meds and resting. While BMS could be hormonal, I don't think that is the main factor in my case. My mouth burning problem started after harsh crown work, when I was just in my thirties. While my periods did all of a sudden decrease in length, I figured it was stress. Not until many years later, did I start noticing what I thought was peri-menopause and then the full menopause experience. While I often feel burning all around my mouth (ears are affected, too), the place where the burning continuously seems to reside is on the side of my tongue, right next to where the crown is located (it didn't change, even when I went without a crown for about 7 years). Does anyone else have a particular place in mouth which always seems to burn, for whatever reason?
