Follow-Up:
My 15 year old daughter had chronic chapped lips, 3 years of going to specialist such as dermotoloist, allergy doctor and anyone else I could find. One doctor gave her Valtrex that seem to help and she took it only when it flared back up. After about a year she developed dry red flaky skin surrounding her eyes, then horrible allergies, and now red patches that they say is psoriasis on her face, around her ears and hairline. The doctor gave her Elidell ointment that does control her lips and psoriasis.
