Follow-Up:
I had geographic tongue and buring mouth for 10+ years. Went to see hundreds of doctors, had many tests run. Went to a dental specialists and he referred me to a stomach doctor. Went to a gastro specialists, he scoped my stomach and found I had severe inflamation of the esophagus. Put me on 300mg of Tagamet, now on Nexium. Once I got on the Tagamet, the burning was gone in 3 days, the geographic tongue disappeared, either never returned. I take my antiacids faithfully. I have never had a problem for the last 15 years. Get your stomachs checked, it is acid, and the acidity fumes that remain in your oral cavity that is causing all of your problems. See a gastro.
