Hey man My name is Rich i am 18 and have almost the same life experience you had. outkast, seperating parents, not good socially, low self-esteem,creative,teachers like me,individual, some drug usage, etc. I think i have been depressed since freshman year of high school. didn't start experimenting with drugs till junior year. It was then when I got addicted to pot, and tried: mushrooms, LCA( a form of LCD), various pills, and my most favorite pill of all adderall. Ya so after i decided most of my suicidal and depressed, thoughts were related to pot, i started blowing and poping adderall, whenever i could. It gave me the euphoria and focus and social ability i had always wanted. I thought it was just a great drug, i managed to get prescribed to it, along with prozac. Anyways, 4-5 months of 40mg/day of adderall, i am starting to see the awful affects it can have on you. Its made me wicked anti-social, the world seems fake, i feel nothing, and the euphoria, focus, and, social abilities have almost completly deminished. I have a freind just like both of us who was on it for 5 years, and only becuase he wanted to be on it. He worked the system a bit to get prescribed, like me. Anyways about a month ago he started to taper off, and he says to me " rich, my whole life has been numb up until now". Anyways bro, coming from two ppl like you who thought they could use that shit to help them out.... get off of it ASAP. I am starting the process. along with prozac. Fuck all these drugs.
