Follow-Up:
Hi, I had really bad BMS and it started when I was 29 years old. WIth it I had GER, panick attacks, depression, food sensitivities and chemical sensitivities. I wanted to die, just die. Searched high and low, went to doctors, dentists, chinese herbalists, homeopaths, etc... the homeopath was my last hope. She diagnosed me with having a systemic yeast problem in my gut. There are several things that people with BMS share in common... it started after going to the dentist or having antibiotics, together with stress, etc... I could not even eat a boiled potato without the horrible burning of mouth and esophagus as well. This homeopath gave me something called Olive leaf extract and sent me home. I thought it was all rubbish but within a couple of weeks the burning started to go away. I could eat more things without the burning... after about 2 months it was virtually gone. But then I got pregnant. The burning started to come back bit by bit, I didn't want to take medication because of the baby, to make a long story short, the burning came back with the food and chemical sensitivities and the panick attacks and depression. Aparently, yeast is very hard to kill and you must stay on medication for a while, also pregnancy makes you suceptible to it. I was so bummed out. I went to a specialist in London (live in England) who treats food allergies and sensitivities, I didn't know he also treats candida. A proper doctor that believes in Candida! he put me on Nystantin and I got all sorts of allergy testing. I was allergic to every bloody thing they tested! Supposedly the yeast opens microscopic holes in your guy, allowing molecules of food to go to your blood stream where the body treats it like something foreign to it and it produces antibodies. The good thing is that this doctor give you something like an antidote, he desinsitizes you from the food allergy by giving you injections. After the first jab, the burning went again and nowI am taking anti-yeast medication called nystatin. If you want more info contact me. Also read the book, the yeast connection.
