Follow-Up:
I suffered from bad (and I mean extreame) acne. To solve/control the problem I used a drug called Accutane which is very powerful, it controlled my acne by badly chapped my lips. I have used lip balms (Blistex) which solve the problem for about 1 hour and more expensive creames which solve the problem for about 5 hours. All these products try to solve the consequences of my dry lips but don't deal with the cause. The cause being that my lips don't produce any natural moister. Does anyone know of any products that induce your lips to increase moister production or retain moister better?
