Follow-Up:

I am 63 yr of age and have had a burning tongue for about 15 months. Have been to 2 family drs., 2 ENTs, dentist, dental surgeon, psychiatrist, chiropractor, accupuncturist and finally a neurologist. He has never had a case like mine and has done some research with ENT doctors at a university teaching hospital. The ENT docs say that they have found cases like mine in women over 60 who have been on HRT and for some reason, the drug Neurontin has helped their symptoms. It is a serious drug, but I have been willing to try it and after 4 weeks of experimenting with dosage, I THINK it is helping. This is a treatment only for someone like myself who has been almost debilitated by this syndrome.
