Follow-Up:
My mom and I both have chronic chapped lips in the winter. My mom had a total hysterectomy 40 years ago. So, I don't think it is hormonal but I do think it's hereditary (pretty sure my brother has it too and possibly his 14 yr old son). We use crock pots for humidity, drink lots of water, and just slather on the lip stuff. This year, I'm going to ask my doctor. I'll let you all know if he can help.
