Follow-Up:
Thanks to all for sharing problem of burning mouth and possible remedies.I started with bms last March and saw many specialists who weren't able to help. Someone mentioned a connection with oxalates (tiny crystals obtained from certain foods). I had problems with oxalates about 8 years ago and the condition was vulvadyna, very painful. After suffering with this for many months, I saw a homeopathic doctor who suggested that I start taking Calcium/Magnesium Citrate. Apparently, the tiny crystals adhere to the citrate and go out of your system with urine. I'm sure this doesn't sound very scientific, but I started taking the calcium citrate again and my mouth problem is 99% gone. Some foods to avoid are strawberries, raspberries, coffee, chocolate, and even green beans. I take about 500 mg of Calcium/Magnesium citrate a day. Hope it helps.
