Follow-Up:
Mine lasted for 2 weeks or more it started as a metalic then very salty taste all day long , figured out hot coffee had damaged my buds. found that gargling with hydrogen pyroxide full strength followed by salt water made it heal within 3 or 4 day. now I watch out when drinking hot coffee.
