Follow-Up:
I've had a salty taste since the middle of December 2004 - I also have had root canal work, so it could be that or I had eaten a lot of "sour" sweets (with the fizzy sherbet stuff on the outside) so maybe that "burnt" my tastebuds. It's driving me mad: I cant drink tea or coffee at all just boiled water, I dont add salt to any food and I've dramatically cut down on sweet things as they just taste horrible... it even stays when you clean your teeth - nightmare!
