Follow-Up:

I have had burning mouth syndrome for three years. I found the only thing that relieved the pain was chewing gum. (Any kind of gum) I recently was told by one of the many doctors that I go to that what is affected is the nerves under the tongue. I took some dental wax and made a round cilinder about the size of nickel and placed it under my tongue on the left side. I don't know if this will help you. Believe me it is worth a try. I don't know why it works. My dentist (who, I believe, thinks I am nuts) does not understand the whole thing. Please try it and let me know.
