Follow-Up:

Once you've been taking Clonazepam for some time your body develops a dependency. It may take 2 or 3 years to safely stop taking the drug without any discontinuation syndrome or adverse withdrawels. Please speak with your pharmicist or doctor before trying to quit taking Clonazepam. My best advice to you is respect the fact it is a powerful drug that ulters the chemical balance in your brain. Be very careful not to make any rapid changes in your dose, and monitor how you feel as your coming off, as you may need to keep taking it if your anxiety levels increase. The internet has some great links with important information on the drug, try www.mentalhealth.com and look it up. Every drug has side effects, especially those that work with chemical balance in the brain- be very careful!
